Back to film?

So just three years after his passing I managed to get courage and check the camera my dad was using. It was the first SLR I bought with one of my first salaries as a teenager, a 35mm film Nikon F50. Not a particularly impressive camera, specially as still has the cheap kit lenses and it’s almost all automatic buttons, I don’t like them at all in a film camera, break the immersion. So Dad had an unfinished roll inside, which I had developed. So this itched an old bug inside me and decided to buy a new black&white HP5 roll and take it for a spin. And damn, now I am hooked thinking into getting a Nikon FE. Of course the F50 has its sentimental value, but the first ever SLR I used was fully mechanical Pentax k1000, and I’d love to try than feeling again. Wife will kill me though if I spend 200€ in a 40 year old camera 😅
